Mission Statement

Tax Discovery is a series of products that are designed to assist the real estate tax collector in the state of Pennsylvania to have a low maintenance application that performs all the needs surrounding tax collection at a low cost.

 

 

About us

We are a co-op organization of tax collectors centered in Erie, Pennsylvania who realized that a "one-size fits all" product does not meet the needs that each of us have so we banded together to have a software package created that we could annually pay for and could tailor to fit the changing needs of our position at no additional costs.

 

 

Who wrote the application

Since 2005, David Hapeman took on the challenge for our co-op and continues to use his 30 years of experience in IT to keep us up to date with the latest technologies, while listening to the changes that we need. David makes no money with this application in that our annual fees are specifically used for the upkeep of the hardware, licensing and connectivity that we all require.

There is a hope that someday enough collectors will sign on to the product and we could have David's services full time.
